Man, I am like fifty years behind myself, here! It's crazy, I feel like I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off, except sitting at a desk and with head firmly attached.
My darling
violetsmiles is hosting a Love Meme. So if anybody is feeling extra squishy today, they should go and squish people.
Last night I was dropping off some stuff to Proofing and it was already late and I was talking with Proofer M and somebody popped into her room to ask her a question about where something went and she said "take it to blah blah blah and make sure you remember to tell them that it's due today!"
And I looked at the clock, which clearly said 5:15, looked back at her, raised an eyebrow and said "Today?" - and she sighed and shook her head and said "It happens more than you think" and I was smug and "I bet one of the reasons you guys love me is I usually give you things without specific due dates" and she said, sarcastically "I know you do".
I gasped and said "That was a true statement! It did not deserve your sarcastic voice!" and she replied "Oops, no, you're right - it's just that you and my sarcastic voice just go together".
This is why Proofer M is rapidly becoming my favorite of the proofers.
I watched Grey's Anatomy last night and, as usual, I CRIED at one of the patient scenes. I am such a freaking sap.
I am starving and want bacon. Chance of bacon: Slim to none.
I've decided that just getting my hour back is not enough and I'm adding "two extra hours a day" to my list of demands from the world. Or universe, since it might be the sort of demand that is filled more easily from a different world. We'll see.
Also, there is, apparently, a conspiracy to make me use paperclips that are far too large, even though I *hate* using huge paperclips when it's just two pieces of paper being clipped together. I even particularly requested regular sized paperclips a few months ago, when Admin R was ordering supplies and she said she'd order me some and she even *gave* me a small amount from her own, personal stash, to tide me over in the meantime.
And yet, those specially ordered paperclips never appeared and I am back down to nothing but huge, gigantic paperclips of PAIN.
The struggle against LuthorCorp continues. Stay tuned for tomorrow's entry: WILL
swmbo get normal sized paperclips? I know you guys are on the edge of your seat - be careful you don't fall off!
But I just really, really want small paperclips for clipping two or three pieces of paper together! Big ones are overkill and they look silly and WHY is this so much to ask?!
And now I go back to making up for the fact that all yesterday afternoon was spent in a MEETING! *hugs you all*

*cries and cries on your shoulder*
And I have normal sized paperclips, but not only are they normal sized, they are in COLOUR! *wins at paperclips*
(no subject)
Which ok, you win at normal sized paperclips! I don't even care about color, though, I JUST WANT SOMETHING NOT JUMBO!
(no subject)
*zombified*
I squish and loff you here, since I'm too lazy to do it anonymously somewhere else.
*squishes, loves, hugs, etc.*

Man, I really, really need two more hours. I still think my three-day-weekend every week plan is fabulous and we should all get on that, too! When I am in charge of everything, it will be so!

If it helps, I cried too. Probably most of the planet watching it did as well.

As an update: I sent an email requesting small paperclips - thirty minutes ago. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE!!
Damn these cliffhanger endings!

You know, i once had a huge lucite...thingy full of normal-sized colored paperclips and they are *all* gone. With the wind or something - i don't even vacuum them up unexpectedly!
Maybe it's some sort of paperclip *troll*. That eats them.
*wanders off for Cheerios*

2) I have yet to watch any of Grey's. I've been buying up cancelled shows on DVD and living in their worlds. Found Firefly for twenny bucks. And I was well-pleased. And Dead Like Me. And Quantum Leap, which is the best thing since donuts.
3) Oooh, bacon.
4) Paperclips. They're like an endangered species at my job. Need 'em to clip together the daily reciepts for input into the computer at end of day, and this retail shit is sucking my SOUL, Swm. Waugh.

2) Ohh, it's sooo good - if you can find Season 1 cheap somewhere, you should grab it! It's only 10 eps but they're great and they grow on me more and more.
3) Bacon - AND DONUTS, thanks :p
4) Man, retail is evil *patpatpat*. I am feeling for you, man!

See, I have pens, but the good ones keep disappearing and then I have to go back to the stupid, non-retractable and lame pen that is missing it's CAP!

I will give you an hour of my time each day if you like, but you just have to make tomorrow April 20th :)
My bf gave me the season 1 Grey's Anatomy dvd. He's not seen the show yet, so we're going to watch season 1. Then I'll have to buy season 2, because I've only seen about half the shows this year due to my WoW schedule =\
(no subject)
ohhhhhh, man, yes, ship me those hours! As soon as I get them, I'll change the date!
Season 1 makes me happy, Season 2 makes me happy, Grey's Anatomy is just so LOVED.

Also: bacon sounds really good now. But I am going to have sushi. And that's pretty much all I have to report.
(no subject)
Ok, sushi sounds really, really good as well. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

That's why I actually do not much like the colored ones - they look pretty, but the rubbery coating isn't as nice as regular silver at rapid clipping.

Love memes. ::sigh:: As if daylight savings wasn't bad enough.

I went home and made myself a burrito with beans, rice, cheese, salsa and sour cream and it was pretty good but it had NO MEAT! I am not a vegetarian and yet I have not had meat in *counts on fingers*
Last Wednesday! The day of food poisoning! So now it's all clear as to why I have been subconsciously avoiding meat, but...Now I'm ready for it.

Also, I like Proofer M! She almost makes up for how much I miss Coworker K.

I think timely news is important, Kovsky!!

I watched Grey's Anatomy last night and, as usual, I CRIED at one of the patient scenes. I am such a freaking sap.
I'm relieved to read this because I also cried. I like knowing I'm not the only sap! :)
I hope your day is marvelous!!

And now I have paperclips! Admin R came through - even faster than expected!! HURRAH!!
My day IS marvelous because it is just that gorgeous out!

Did you cry when RoseanneJackie told her daughter she was dying? I cried then. It was said. And...well you may read my Sunday night review at my journal because I don't want to clutter your comments with my dictionary-length thoughts on it.
(no subject)
I did ! That was it - not just the dying, but everything she was saying to her daughter about what she wanted and hoped and it was just so SAD!!
I will totally read your Sunday night review tonight!
