Since I turned seventeen and got that first Saturn, I have been through a grand total of (and I had to stop and think about this) six cars. SIX CARS. The first one was lost in that accident, the second got hit by a deer (no, seriously -- the deer ran INTO my car) and was totalled, the third died, the fourth died, the fifth died (and they were all Geos, so there you go), and now I've had the Saturn for about two and a half years (shit, maybe even three) years. *g*

I guess what I'm trying to say is this -- accidents SUCK. I've had my fair share of them (though thankfully, I've never been at fault for one, other than the time I accidentally mildly rear-ended someone, but it doesn't count because there was no damage and no one called the cops *g*), and they shake you up EVERY DAMN TIME, but you get behind the wheel anyway. YOU DO IT, SWMBO! NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER!!
