Up at 3:30 am. Airport at 4:15. Now I am sitting here all gritty-eyed and blinking, with an almond croissant and a banana and an hour til boarding since we were practically the first through security. The lines started going queuing like mad behind us, though, so better early with resting time before than years in line, right? Even if that last 15 minutes of sleep sounded glorious.
Yesterday we accidentally got on a bus going the wrong way and ended up in the middle of nowhere and basically spent two hours riding city buses and having people talk to me. One woman talking about how worthless her man is and how she needs to kick his ass and another very concerned that I was reading 'so early'. I don't know what that even means!! I also don't know why perfect strangers always talk to me and never my travel companions! And don't say I make eye contact because hello, I was reading!
If things go well (cue hysterical laughter) I will be at the economy parking lot in about 7 hours. Please please please send out phone-finding vibes my way!
