Meep.

My laundry is currently in the dryer, drying. I am showered and also drying. I have about 50 minutes in which all drying must be completed and then my bag packed for my trip before I head into the office. AND I need to keep tying up loose ends on projects and believe you me, I AM PANICKED.

The only thing I DO have ready to go is my packed-full-kindle. My priorities are either the worst or the best.

Swmkit can tell something is up, too. He's being super clingy - right now he's pressed against my knee making soft, sad noises. I don't know HOW he knows but he DOES.

I found out my return flight on Thursday leaves at 6:30 am. Which means leaving FOR the airport at like 3:30 am. WHAT KIND OF SADISTIC THING IS THIS?! There is absolutely no way I will be functional, which means I'll probably wind up in one of the Dakotas by accident.

Did anybody watch Revolution?!? It's on my list because, hello, post-apocalyptic, but I won't be able to until I get home! And I'm quite convinced that it's going to be terrible because I know the ODDS, people, but still, I can't help but cling to a sliver of hope.

Ok, now for more caffiene and tabbing back to work. SULK

HOLY COW!

My boss, who I am traveling with today, cracked her tooth last night so she's at the dentist right now getting it fixed or patched or whatever they can manage. She's coming to the office after and we're carpooling to the airport together and basically leaving at the last possible second.

And I feel more than vaguely guilty because this obviously means my travel karma is spreading to my travel companions and oh god, we're not making it out of this trip alive. I'm probably going to get eaten by a whale.
