Weee! The last few days I have been a slacker about posting, but it's because I was saving up ALL MY ENERGY for this post.
First, did you guys know that apparently in 2003 there was a Lifetime tv show based VERY LOOSELY on Meg Cabot's 1-800-Where-R-You book? And when I say very loosely, I mean, lets take a 16 year old that's doing everything she can to avoid tangling with the FBI and change her into a 20-something who willingly partners with the FBI and also totally change the focus from missing kids to anything else FBI related. People kidnapped from airports and stuff.
And they got rid of half her family and they keep putting in really kinda squicky romances between her FBI boss and random other people. Gross. And it ran for THREE SEASONS!! Wow. I watched like 6 episodes this weekend and I'm gonna watch until Netflix Streaming tells me there's nothing else it has for me. AND I rummaged and got the old books again and realized I'd only read the first two. Which are by far superior to the third and fourth (where I am now) because those are totally meh. Summer camp is cooler than murdererous kidnappers. I think we can all get behind that statement.
Anyway, so last week Fod shamed me and put me to shame about Foodsday. THIS WEEK I AM COMING BACK! This recipe is awesome, and also very easy and with ridiculously minimal ingredients.
( Tuesday Foodsday! A picture extravaganza! )
Whew, that was EXHAUSTING! Managing and uploading and then copying and pasting scrapbook code was far more exhausting than actually cooking. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it the hardway, I need to do some research. AND I think I need to get a real camera, too. Cell phone pics do not cut it. Although at least I have an excuse for my sad photography, if I used a real camera I'd just be busted as somebody who doesn't understand proportion and focus!
Happy last day of August! Time for FALL!
