Not deads yet! Water still making me give a narrow-eyed glare, though. Good thing it's FRIDAY. Maybe it'll clear up over the weekend.
I still haven't seen this week's Top Chef OR last week's Project Runway, I am SO behind...but I have been busy being SOCIAL *gasp* *shiver*
On wednesday, we had a friend come into town so we went out for dinner and drinks and then all hung out. Then yesterday afternoon I got a text that said "BBQ and RiffTrax live tonight, want to join us?" from different friends.
And ok, the thing is, I was a HUGE MST3K junkie in college and beyond. I loved that show so much, i think it practically defined part of my college experience. Mandated mockery! I am so there!
So I said yes, even though it makes the budget twitch to go out twice in a week. Because of the awesome! And I loved it. The shorts were the best bit, although the feature was Reefer Madness, which is basically just a really long short. But during the first two shorts, I literally was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe and was just crying. GOOD TIMES.
Also, bbq = DELICIOUS. *pats belly*
And now I am totally, totally ready for the weekend, where I will make guacamole and play World of Warcraft and read books all weekend. PEACE AND HAPPINESS.
And I will try to watch the missing Top Chef and Project Runway, because I do not want to accidently get spoiled and my life is RISKY!
Also, nephbo's first day of kindgergarten went well, although he makes me laugh so hard. Apparently he was shocked to find that some kids were crying and upset about going to school (there's a preschool class in the elementary school that he's been going to for the past 2 years) and when it was explained to him that they're scared because they'd never been to school before, he was all judgemental "I do not know why any kids would ALLOW their parents not to send them to school." Hahaha. I guess we know who rules the roost. I love this kid :)
