Gooooood morning, kids! I am surprisingly almost awake today! Courtesy of both an extra cup of coffee and the fact that I watched Nephbo for an hour this morning before dropping him off at his sitter's for the day. Poor BFF had a business trip yesterday and her trip home was CANCELLED. Apparently just knowing me is enough to get that happen, who knew?

And her husband had something he absolutely could not miss this morning (some certification test that's only offered every few months) and so I was like, sure, bring him by when you have to leave.

We ate greek yogurt with blackberries (and honey on his) and I drank lots of coffee and he and the cat stared at each other and meowed back and forth, which was the CUTEST THING EVER. Swmkit is shy around people, particularly small people, so I was VERY proud of him that he actually came out and socialized.

And by socialized I mean "complained loudly that it was too early for these kinds of antics". And so he would meow and then nephbo would imitate and then swmkit would stare at nephbo, insulted, and meow at him. Rinse and repeat. I was giggling like mad.

And now I am at work and oh man, FRIDAY. Glorious, glorious Friday. This is actually a request - please make today a glorious friday, thank you.

I watched *last* week's Project Runway, the first episode of this season last night, I'm gonna be on a several day delay here.

I started Andrea Levy's The Long Song yesterday, so that's coming up next.

And also, it's FRIDAY!! I turned in a project to work yesterday and am awaiting feedback, so cross your fingers for positive vibes because I am still VERY NEW here and need lots of goodness, ok? Thank you :)
