Really? That's about the worst thought for the day EVER. I mean, I can't even decide what it's trying to actually *say* and if it's a compliment or an insult and no matter what happens, it sounds vaguely porny. And by vaguely I mean extremely, but sad.
But that's just the tip of the "REALLY?!" iceberg. I was browsing the Goodreads advance reader copy giveaways and this month there are THREE freaking versions of Pride and Predjudice being released.

PRAWN AND PREJUDICE? REALLY? (also, the more I type Prejudice, the worse it looks as a word). And it's probably *not* about pr0n. No, it's about a regatta. And I have no respect for it. I mean, the teaser reads: IT is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a yacht must be in want of a female crew. And then says "bikinis replace ballroom gowns" And sucking replaces awesome?
I don't respect A Little Bit Psychic, either, though, because they didn't have the guts to go for it with the name, instead they just tagged it on in the most unoriginal manner possible. Actually, it is pure AU fanfic. Take a humorous journey with post-graduate student Elizabeth Bennet as she travels to London to study for her PhD. Will her strange dreams of princesses and knights hold her back or will being just "A Little Bit Psychic" aid her in discovering that William Darcy is the love of her life?
I could ALMOST respect Prada and Prejudice because the main character is 15. And that makes it more likeable. But it's also time travel. Fifteen-year-old Callie buys a pair of real Prada pumps to impress the cool crowd on a school trip to London. Goodbye, Callie the clumsy geek-girl, hello popularity! But before she knows what’s hit her, Callie wobbles, trips, conks her head… and wakes up in the year 1815!

Maybe it's time for me to get in on this action. Pride and Swmbo is going to be sold at a store near you!
