So...

I am in the process of trying to refinance my house. This has been a Very Long Process, since I began it in JANUARY with my mortgage provider. And at the initial call it was GREAT. Lower rate, possibility of dropping PMI and the most important thing - NO APPRAISAL NEEDED. Just me signing paperwork. and sending it in.

( I shake my fist at mortgage companies )

So anyway, my appraisal is TODAY at 5, so keep your fingers crossed.

In part 2, the fact that my appraisal is today at five meant that I decided that gah, I should probably try to make the house look presentable.

So knowing that I wouldn't actually do anything except *maybe* mow on the weekend, I decided to take Tuesday and Wednesday off work for a mini-vacation and clean.


So, Tuesday and Wednesday come around and ...

( cleaning and swmbo do not mix )

Still, I get to leave work early for the first Flex-Friday of the summer season! So maybe things will work out in the end - wish me luck! AND CROSS YOUR FINGERS ON MY APPRAISAL!!

I'm celebrating (or mourning) the results on Saturday with some coworkers who are all coming over for a Buffy-watching party and sangria and margaritas.
