I'm a CRIMINAL!
Today has been a crazy morning and it started off with me leaving the house (well, no it started with things like coffee and feeding swmkit and making a smoothie for breakfast and watching Castle, those were ok things) and getting yesterday's mail. And finding out that oh yay, my debit card information 'may' have been compromised so they gave me a new debit card to register. And then I'm driving to work and I notice that hey, those are my new license plates on the seat next to me! Because at the DMV on Monday they gave me new license plates (WILL I ever memorize my new number? Stay tuned!)
And my old plates expired yesterday! So today I am driving on expired tags even though I did do all my renewal stuff! And then as i was pulling into work and gathering my things I realized, hey. Where's my purse? Aaaaaaand...I apparently left it in my house.
So now I'm expired plates AND no driver's license. HAH! Take that. CoWorker L says that if I get pulled over today I should just be like "APRIL FOOLS!" I admit, I'd be tempted, very tempted.
On the bright side, normally leaving my purse in my car would mean I have no money. But hey! I have a BRAND NEW DEBIT CARD! WOOT! I can still go to Aldi's after work and buy stuff for nephbo night.
OH! And evil LuthorCorp has already played their April Fool's Day joke on us - they told us we were having clients in the office today and we'd have to really dress up and clean stuff and...yeah, LIE. WHICH I totally suspected and called last night, but I didn't have the courage of my convictions, because I still didn't wear my jeans today. In retaliation, we're going to stage a coup. THERE WILL BE BLOOD TONIGHT!
Also, the LuthorCorp Thought for the Day: True leadership is neither a talent, a gift, nor an ability. It is a way of life.
Whatever! DO NOT TRY TO TAKE AWAY MY TALENTS! I will lead this mutiny to victory, stop trying to discourage me, LuthorCorp.
