*facepalm*

 

I suppose that's what I get for grumbling yesterday that I hate taking a shower and then having to get dressed.  The world decided that if that's the case, I can get dressed and THEN take a shower.  

 

We're talking torrents and deluges and parking lots that are flooded with like an inch of water.  My hair so wet it's plastered against my scalp and I'm just sorta - dripping everywhere. 

 

So I'm having my lunch of red beans and rice for breakfast, because I'm cold.  DEAL WITH IT, MATTIE!

 

Oh, and remember I talked about the pilot of Privileged being Tuesday?  Well, I finally watched it and, huh. Without spoilers, it basically goes the Ugly Betty route - hour long quasi-sitcom rather drama or even drama-with-snark.  It does give a little more room for plot and story and whatnot.  But despite lots of characters, it's very much not ensemble feeling, any more than Ugly Betty was.  This is One Girl Against the World (with allies).  I'd watch it again, but I'm an ensemble kinda gal.  

 

GOD my coffee is good today.  Coworker L, who loves me very very much, gave me a small bag of coffee.  So that I don't have to drink work coffee.  It is HEAVEN.

 

Nothing new on tv!  But it's my raid night!  Yay!  Hurry up, workday!  GO REALLY FAST (but do so in a manner that all the stuff due today gets done, ok?  Thanks!)
