Heh. Ooops. Somehow *I* overslept this morning! And even after going to bed early!
So, yesterday actually turned into a *gorgeous* day, weatherwise. The doom and gloom faded away and it was all sunshine and high 60s and perfect. I took my lunch and ate it outside at the office park ‘lake’ (SO NOT A LAKE) on a park bench and was nearly attacked by ducks. When I got there, they were all swimming around in happy circles, doing their ducky thing.
I sat down on the bench. The ducks continue swimming in happy circles.
I open my lunch. The ducks immediately, as a solid mass, turn and head to shore, STRAIGHT TO ME.
I don’t trust psychic ducks at ALL. Fortunately, they apparently decided my leftovers were not duckish food and left me alone.
So, I *finally* watched television last night and it reminded me how much, overall, I really just prefer TV to movies. I mean, there are good movies that I love seeing. But I’d rather watch a crappy tv show than a crappy movie and I sometimes think I’d rather watch a crappy tv show than even a decent movie! It’s nice to be back in fall again. With the strike last year, I really hadn’t watched anything regularly *since* last fall. So I am getting back into my groove.
First, I watched the TIVO’ed Tru Blood from Sunday. ( Spoilers for Tru Blood! Sorta! )
THEN I watched the pilot of Fringe!
( Spoilers for Fringe…sorta )
I also even mowed my lawn last night!! YES, THAT IS RIGHT! After work! It was annoying but it’s done and there’s even a possibility that that will have been the LAST time I had to mow the lawn til spring. It’ll depend on what the weather does, but it’s a possibility! It’s one I cling to.
And then tonight is Project Runway! The only show I really *have* watched since last year, but reality tv is it’s own thing. But it sets me up for a good night.
May your Wednesdays be fabulous and fun, darlings. I’m off to scrounge up coffee and *sigh* probably spend an ENTIRE DOLLAR in the vending machine because I am *starving*. I miss having a deli downstairs!
