I started the day off with an 8:30 meeting. The CEO of the company wanted to give us a combination of peptalk and 'forward-thinking' brainstorming session on what we're going to do over the next few months. This was particularly creepy as he kept talking about we were the 'gift' he's been giving to work with. (He was just recently promoted, if that's even the term, from President to CEO about a week or so ago.)
I always knew they thought of us as Property of LuthorCorp but to have it confirmed so blatantly! Sheesh!
Also, LTftD: The great gift of human beings is that we have the power of empathy
So, you know, apparently swmbo < empathy
TALK about damning with faint praise.
In addition, I got the following email:

Hello! I am bored today. I am nice girl that would like to chat with you. Email me at [deleted] only, because I am using my friend's email to write this. Would you mind me showing some nice pictures of me?
Harriet Guzman? REALLY? THIS is the name you're trying to use to solicit with? It's - the mind boggles. Also - the email itself is possibly one of the saddest attempts at seduction ever. Nothing inspires me to give somebody money like mediocrity and blandness. True story.
Happy Monday, kids! Wish me luck today, I'm trying to tackle some really boring work stuff I've been putting off *and* trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with my WoW raiding guild to make people stop slacking.
PS. I'm gonna be really embarrassed if somebody on my flist is named Harriet Guzman and I've hurt their feelings.
