swmbo at 07:47am on 10/05/2007The world is covered in FOG!! I can't see anything! swmkit is peering out the window looking for fog monsters - so far, so good, although he's giving off occasional 'meeps' of warning.
Also, MY BASEMENT FLOODED!! Stupid torrential rains! I REVOKE YOU! Back, back rains! Go *away*, I have no time for you! Because I wore sandals yesterday and that was just the Wrong Decision.
However, I had pie for breakfast! Shh, don't tell on me. But it was delicious and I am now hyped up on sugar!
Actually, it's just been a serious of crazy little disasters. I've already mentioned the silly of oh, a flooded basement. Well, then I went to feed swmkit - and he eats dry food, he even turns up his nose at wet food if I ever give him it, which is actually nice for me, because I like the dry better. And of course, before giving swmkit swmkitfood, I always shake the container so that it rattles and he knows he's getting fed. Which works really well until, you know, you do it one day when the lid is apparently just resting on top of the container instead of screwed on and it flies off and you give a vigourous shake and the container's only about 1/2 full so it's not too heavy and the lid has flown off and suddenly a torrential rain of kitty chow is pelting you from the sky.
But that's not ALL! I got a notice from Netflix that they couldn't process the credit card on account. "What?" I think. "That's not possible!" So suddenly visions of identity theft and stolen creditcards maxed to their limit and fighting red tape start floating before my eyes and I check the balance online. But no, it's fine, there's nothing weird. So I call the credit card company and am like 'Um, you guys are declining my credit card, why?"( Look! I remember how to use an LJ-cut! )
But on the bright side: Thursday, books, possibly-less-than-four-meetings-today and also, PIE and COFFEE. I'll take it.
