So we got five inches of snowfall here! Which means mombo (who also has a cold) is staying another day. She plans to take a hot bath and drink lots of tea and nap.
I am jealous.
Except of the cold bit, of course.
ALTHOUGH! She's in trouble. I had a shampoo bar from LUSH that I got a few weeks ago and I don't know how many of you guys have seen 'em, but it's basically a solid disk about an inch thick. And it's AMAZING and I love it. But mom saw it in it's plastic dish next to the tub and thought that it was a dried out piece of soap and - threw it out. *SOB*
*facepalm*
And then she told me a story about how her mom once threw out her entire bottle collection and how she still hasn't quite forgiven her for it. I'm not sure how that's supposed to help things :p (Yes, I have already forgiven mombo.)
AND tonight we're going to have Big Bubba's BBQ for dinner. DELICIOUS. Possibly the real reason mombo is staying another day, stories of snow and colds aside. Because on Sunday we were driving past it and she was all wistful "I still haven't ever had big bubba's" and I said "!!!" and then "YES you have! Remember, we got it last time you were here?" and then she remembered and was like "Oh, yes! And it was so good!" and saying next time she visits we need to make sure to get it again. And then she decides to just stick around another day because of 'snow'. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
