Hey guys, what's up?

I'm drinking green tea as a preventive measure, because half my office seems like it's inflicted with pre-christmas cooties. Like cookies except without the fun. Except we also HAVE cookies, because we're having our Holiday Potluck.

Also, we did Secret Santa at work and my secret santa LOVES me (Coworker D is *impressed* and says: Your secret santa knows you WELL! And she didn't even come to me to ask for suggestions!). There was wine, there was chocolate, there was a tea-light candle holder that looks like a lamp and is awesome. JOY.

Last night I went over to BFF's house for dinner and then she said "Hey, swmbo, would you mind staying with the munchkin after he falls asleep so that we can shop? We've barely done any Christmas shopping yet". Of course I said yes. So there was also babysitting-of-the-adorable last night. It involved cows and practicing our MOOs.

And after he was tucked into bed for the night, I could hear him singing himself to sleep. SO CUTE.

Then I played WoW - twink battlegrounds again - and that continues to be excellent. Chaotic but fun.

My mind can not wrap itself around the fact that there's only a few days until Christmas. At ALL. It's enough to freak a swmbo out. I have a little more shopping to do but I think I know *what* I want to get so that's...acceptable, right? Except for the bit where I don't want to go to the darn STORES and I was having trouble deciding until too late to do the online thing. I am the bane of my own existence.

So, my holiday plans involve me working tomorrow (or perhaps 'working'), then raiding (assuming we get ANY kind of turn-out) on Friday night. Then Saturday I'll drive home for the holidays, where I will be surrounded by family (AND finally get to see my nephew!) for the season. And then I drive back Tuesday morning!

I'm wearing an extremely dorky looking sweater today in honor of the season!
