Except it didn't. Oh flist, flist, I am saddened and crushed.
NOT as saddened and crushed as I was by the events that caused my non-appearance, namely the fact that I got to work and found out that my personal profile had "corrupted" and I didn't exist any longer.
As if Corruption is a Bad Thing at LuthorCorp!!
It took the IT department like an hour and a half to give me a new personality (hope you guys like it) and get me moving again - and then I had *so much* to do that I just dived into work and have only now, at nearly lunch time, had a moment to breathe and write up my post.
Also: I am covered in what may or may not be poison ivy. ALL over my right arm and other bits of me seem to have it as well and it's just - I ITCH!! Also, I can't tell if my arm is also ballooning up. It's probably ebola. This is probably the LAST post you'll ever get from me. And it's not even gonna be a good one because I don't have the time to devote to you guys that you deserve. bear will provide you all with the opportunity to spend time with me in the afterlife (my afterlife, not yours). Possibly for a small fee. At that point, it's out of my hands. I won't even *have* hands.

It's almost lunch time and I'm so behind on life. Is it Friday yet? Please? Actually, tonight I have to go to some sort of Jewelry party that a neighbor is hosting - which means I can't go to my Thursday wine-tasting. TRAGEDY! I cry on your shoulder, flist, I cry on your shoulder.
