We had CRAZY thunderstorms and lightning last night, the first time for weeks and weeks. Which of course makes sense, if you're going to have ONE thunderstorm, you might as well schedule it for a holiday! So that the ground is nice and soggy for any picnics today. Possibly there will be more storms tonight for fireworks, but I haven't heard.
It also made me get a little big messed-up-in-the-swmhead, all congested and swollen, so that I felt like I had a pumpkin attached to my neck. And not the cute nephbo-style pumpkin.
I talked to BFFH yesterday for an update and could hear Nephbo in the background squeaking happily :) They were going to the ZOO! Nephbo's first zoo! Awww. THey better have taken lots and lots of pictures.
Other than that - well, I watched more Smallville, I failed at seeing Windsor again, despite the fact that rumors were he'd been hotfixed and was working fine. Hrmfs. And I squeaked about fanfic. SO really, it was a complete day!
Today will be an even more complete day, as I plan to be Absolutely Lazy. THere will be no work done, there will be no 'fun' in the heat and the mud, no, I am staying in the relative coolness of inside. And tonight when it gets dark, I'll slip out on to my deck and watch fireworks in the distance. I do love fireworks SO MUCH but not enough to sit outside in the heat and feel oppressed.
Now I am STARVING and need to figure out food and some more hot coffee. *snaps fingers* Minions! ATTEND!
(And this is the moment when swmkit gives me a completely disdainful look and goes to sleep)
