Happy first day of July, kids!

Brace yourself for the Apocalypse, for it is nigh. Or now. Not only am I, swmbo posting on a Saturday, I am also announcing that I bought a laptop. A MAC laptop. A macbook, to be precise. Because of you guys, specifically. That's right, the world is ending and YOU are to blame. Because everybody on my flist with macs laptops (who commented, anyway) was all "omg, I LOVE IT" and everybody else was "well, I heard really bad things/had bad experiences with [insert random PC]" Sometimes with a "but my [another random PC] has been behaving so far", where [another random PC] tended to match somebody else's horrid experiences.

So I gave in and also, the justification was a lot easier in the end - because macs have such different strengths and weaknesses.

I am also pleased to announce that I can play at least basic World of Warcraft on it.

Also, it has a CAMERA! An iSight camera. And like magic phone's crappy camera, this one is sorta grainy and dark, but at least it's not QUITE as blurry.

So step three of the apocalpse: a picture of swmbo. Checking out her macbook. FROM the point of view of the macbook!

Treasure that moment, though, because watch it be another two years before I post a picture of myself again.

Also, I watched transamerica finally today and that movie is SO good, I squish it close to me and love it. It literally made me start tearing up in parts and laughing in others and just - happy.
