What can I say, I'm still working behind the mental curve here.
But I have Very Exciting News: swmkit jumped into my lap for the FIRST TIME!! And kneaded it and then curled up and purred and man, I am overcome. He has always been a cat-on-the-side and never a lapcat!
Apparently my being away from home for so long has persuaded him that I need more attention. I approve of that.
Yesterday after work I headed over to see my nephbo and ohhhh, he was a SIGHT. Oh Nephbo, nephbo, you are too great of an adventurer!

Yesterday afternoon at work, our regularly scheduled workday was interrupted by an all company page over the intercome system:

Also, it was beastly hot yesterday, to the point where I had moments that I believed that the world had ended on Tuesday and I was in Hell. But we're still cooling down at night, which is Very Useful.
I am excited and sad that The Evidence will start airing the last few episodes this weekend. Because obviously we'll never get any character depth or resolution with just a few run-off episodes. *sniff* Silly WORLD.
Also, tonight is a new summer show! Windfall! Following the lives of 20 different people after they win the lottery. Drama, excitement and filthy riches! I am totally watching. At least tonight. It has Luke Perry in it! Heee, I laugh and laugh.
