Oh my god, daylight savings time is kicking my kovsky
*bursts into tears*
I could not fall asleep last night. Now, I was up later than I normally am on a Sunday night, anyway - even if it hadn't been DST. Because of D&D Online, which I played a little on Friday and not at all on Saturday and then a Great Deal of Sunday evening. Two more of my guild from WoW got their D&D accounts and we ran through crypts and sewers and had a blast. It's weird, though, because - I don't have a microphone (I completely want one, now!) - but a couple of the other people do. And a lot of the times, they just say everything instead of typing it out - so conversations are all half and half. And one of the guys talks practically *constantly* - a running commentary on everything he sees. It makes me laugh, but it also kind of makes me want to get *mine* in self-defense. Just so I can out-talk him.
Anyway, we finished at like 12:30 and then I couldn't sleep and couldn't sleep and I swear, it was probably near 2 am before I did. Then I incorporated my alarm into my weird dreams and the only thing that woke me up was swmkit getting very upset that I was still asleep when it was clearly quite late.
So I had a very rushed morning, jumping in the shower, drinking my coffee, watching only about the first fifteen minutes of Grey's Anatomy (Do not tell me what happens!!!)
Also, I watched the first episode of Hex on Sunday, thanks to the DVDs that
siliconivy sent me! She rocks very hard. I wasn't sure, for a lot of it, what I thought, but the ending was excellent and so I am excited - I need to actually rewatch the first ep from the beginning with that in mind.
And I watched Supernatural, which I was too sick to watch on Saturday. I won't comment much on it, but:
( Not so much a spoiler as wishful thinking )
Today I have a THREE HOUR seminar to go to this afternoon *facepalm*. I bet you can tell how enthusiastic I am, considering all I want to do is crawl under my desk and take a nap.
GIVE ME MY EXTRA HOUR BACK, WORLD! I hope the rest of you are coping better than I am. And I'm particularly envious of those of you who don't have to go through this at all or who did it last week and have already adjusted. *breaks down into weak sobs*
