God, I am *exhausted*! Entirely my own fault, of course, but that doesn't make me any less tired. After work yesterday, BFF and I ran home just for two shakes of a lamb's tail and to make sure her hubby was there for nephbo and then we went out. We went to the library and for coffee and shopping and then, as soon as I got home there were like, five thousand phone calls.
( TMI (but not PERSONAL TMI)! Nephbo! Geekery to the nth degree! All behind a magical cut tag! )
There have been a LOT and I mean a lot of posts yesterday about the - I don't even want to use the word wank, the word wank is trivial - but about the ugliness of yesterday.

And hey, for those who are sick and tired of this - hey, I post basically every day. I say something wanky probably what, twice a year? Maybe three times? And even when I do - about any, single other issue, I try to keep it in perspective, keep it light and keep it funny, because most of fandom is not to be taken seriously. But there's nothing, NOTHING funny or entertaining about this situation, not for me.
The fact that I posted on this will surprise nobody who knows me. The fact that I really, really want a cup of coffee will surprise even less. On a more positive note - despite things like this, I really, really love you guys and what I said in winterlive's journal: we *are* a community and one I am proud and happy to be a part of. I love LJ, I love the people I have friended, the ones who have me friended, all of the richness and difference and originality, the fact that there are so many people who come together originally for fic but they stay for so much more.
So true. I am grateful, happy and excited to have you guys every single day. Seriously.
ps. as always, I don't reread my entries before hitting post, ever - i know, i know, i should but i don't - and i don't usually reread them for oh, hours or days later so if i have any thoughts that were dropped midsentence or something that's unclear, let me know and I'll fix or clarify or whatever. I mean, for the two people who care
