This extra early because it's Tuesday! And we all know we gotta keep our eyes on those Tuesdays. They're dangerous.
You all sadden me greatly. Yesterday you were presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to post ANYTHING YOU WANT in my LJ and instead of taking the opportunity to make me rich and yourself famous, you declined. Too big of shoes, Fod says. I wear a size EIGHT, you guys! My foot is of...medium size, I guess. So now your witty posts, amazing icons and fabulous fic all goes unread by my flist and really, you only have yourself to blame. I hope your hitting yourself on the head right this second, saying "wait, what? I could have posted my giant essay on why Raccoons are an Essential part of the Economy?!"
Yes, yes you coud have. But like
star_fragment and her *sparklies*, it would have been extra. A lot extra.
( Cut for length, exhaustion and shame )
Particularly because, as I mentioned, I got everything done BEFORE FIVE! And then there was freedom.
And on the drive home I was all "man, I don't even know what I'm going to do with myself tonight, I burned out on days and days of World of Warcraft this weekend and I watched all the netflix dvds and what should I..."
And then I checked my mail and OH KIDS!
annakovsky is the BEST option A ever and she MADE ME A MIXED DVD!!! And it arrived in the mail yesterday and it is beautiful and when you put it in the dvd player it says that it's for ME and it had three eps of SVU and one of The Office and the episode of The View where Mariska is hosting it and she and Chris Meloni have 'chemistry' together! OH MAN!! So I watched the first SVU ep and The View - and I watched the WHOLE THING because Mariska is awesome and I put up with the rest of The View for her.
Then at like 8 or so I was *so* exhausted I could not take it any longer and I trotted up to bed where I read Maximum City: Bombay and I'm hitting that thread when it feels like all my books are becoming interconnected and it's surreal. Anyway, that reminds me that I haven't done my post about Feb books - well that and
ros_fod's post. I kept remnding myself I need to so expect that later today but it'll be all cut-tagged for your sanity. Or, actually, I am still working out the system, it might be appended on to something else and I'll just provide a link. We'll see.
And now I'm drinking coffee and watching The Colbert Report and it's TUESDAY and I have a normal amount of work and new jeans and a cranberry shirt and it's beautifully overcast and three new books are waiting at the library for me and Life Is Awesome. Even if I'm not rich yet, because you guys aren't willing to pony up. But whatever, I forgive you, at least I didn't have to read an essay like Coffee: Bad for Your Health or Bad for Your Mind?.
