Ohh, happy, happy day, because today we get TWO HOURS OF NEW ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT!!
Sadness that it may be the last two hours, so it's bittersweet, but TWO FULL HOURS. Four episodes! I am overcome. (but please please please let abc or showtime pick it up, k, thank you, goodbye)
In related to news (hey, both are about tv) I watched the first episode of Blackpool last night. OMG, I LOVE that show! The last five minutes of the first episode made me happy to an unbelievable degree. And the beginning of the next! The songs and choreography, oh man, they slay me. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
EVERYBODY is out of the office today, or so it feels like. It's still early, of course, but we've had two scheduled absences, one person call in sick already, somebody else hasn't shown up yet - it's crazy talk.
WE MIGHT GET SNOW! That's even crazier talk. And I really, really, really want breakfast. Something more substantial than JUST BACON, which is, for some reason, what Coworker N has. I love bacon, bacon is good stuff, it's excellent, it's yummy - it is NOT a complete breakfast.
This weekend is going to be exciting!! I am going to do LAUNDRY! And DISHES! And...no, no, I can't summon up any more enthusiasm for that. I shall tuck myself into bed (particularly if it *snows*) and read books and finish watching Blackpool and watch other dvds and pretend the rest of the world does not exist, unless I am to babysit nephbo on Sunday. We shall seee. Oh! And if not nephbo-sitting - maybe some World of Warcraft (there is supposed to be a LOVE PLAGUE!) and some reading of fanfic. Those both sound excellent as well.
NEXT weekend, however, Mombo is coming up to visit!! (Unless the predicted weather of semi-crappy turns to actual crappy)! She is bringing, she has told me, wine and toilet paper (*facepalm*) and steaks and all sorts of goodness.
OH! And this weekend I might, *MIGHT* run the numbers on my taxes to find out if the news is going to be good or evil. WISH ME LUCK!
