HAPPY BIRTHDAYS,
onetwomany (even though you quite possibly won't be on LJ to see this, I still adore you!) and my darlingest of
violetsmiles! I hope it is fabulous and fun and even though it started with your having to go to work at some obscene hour of the morning, every moment of it is a joy. I hug and squish you and give you a birthday crown.
Grrrrrrr...
LJ logged me out, of COURSE, on my phone, but I didn't realize it until I'd completely caught up. WHich means now I have to catch up all over again!
Also, my tire is going flat and I've filled it up twice and I just hope it has enough air to get me to a place where I can get it patched. Well, no, I just hope that AND that a patch is all it needs to be fixed, instead of a whole new tire. Do they patch tires at places like Tires Plus, or just sell them? WHY do I not know things like that? I am a failure as an adult!
But we have DOUGHNUTS for breakfast.
The wine tasting last night was a lot of fun, so I'm glad I gave in and went, despite my exhaustion. And tonight there's something called First Fridays, which involves a bunch of downtown art galleries opening late and trolleys that take you between them and then you have dinner, and a friend of mine wants to do that for her birthday (a lot of cool people were apparently born today!).
Last night I had dreams about a transsexual hamster named Lloyd. Who could talk. And lived in an aquarium on my nightstand.
I have no idea what that means, but I'm pretty sure I'm terrified.
Now I need to shake the cobwebs out of my brain and try to function! HOWEVER! My motherboard is scheduled to arrive at the house TODAY! Assuming no signature delivery is required, please let it be delivered! And then tomorrow, oh glorious tomorrow, I shall hopefully have a computer, barring - oh well, barring something else having been broken and we weren't able to find that out, yes, yes, I AM CONCERNED!
But oh the possibilities and the glory of having a computer again, oh my god, just the THOUGHT is making me squeak. WISH ME LUCK!
In the meantime, I will be mucking about, wishing I was at home reading, actually getting some work done and possibly, just possibly, not falling off my chair.
Have fun kiddiwinks! Stay out of trouble.
