Today is hectic for there are clients in the office, I had to dress up and my "personal growth plan" is due today - technically it was due at the end of December but it was pushed back due to swmboss and I both hating doing those - and so I have to come up with FIVE GOALS for the next three months. Goals, schmoals. They won't accept "to take over the world", either. Which is actually ok, because I think it's going to take longer than 3 months to do, since [livejournal.com profile] anniesj is a SLACKER who can not come up with my funding. The goals can be a mixture of personal and professional and I hate and loathe doing them with a passion. Particularly NOW, when it's close to the New Year and smacks of a Resolution! I have two hours to come up with about three more goals.

This weekend was beautiful - the weather was gorgeous and in the sixties and I had nothing I had to do and it was ALL ABOUT ME. On Sunday, I went to lunch with BFF, her husband and nephbo. And then afterwards BFF's hubby took nephbo home and the BFF and I went to see Brokeback Mountain. Which definitely brought tears to my eyes at different parts and which I loved.

I spent most of Saturday reading, with random breaks for food and dvds. But mostly reading. Saturday was ALSO Mombo's 60th birthday! SO of course I called her and sang happy birthday to her and told her she's one year closer to getting a cane. And she said "AND a brick to put in my purse". She wants to thrash young hooligans and shake her fist, it's very exciting.

As a contrast to Brokeback Mountain and Dandelion (WOE!), I also watched Season 3 of Coupling. God, I love that show.

AND I watched The Book of Daniel, which I really, really loved and shall definitely be watching again next Friday. Did anybody else at all on my flist catch this? Inquiring swmbos must know!

I'm drinking mediocre coffee and fighting against the morning weariness. Also grumpy because Grey's Anatomy last night wasn't a repeat, it was a recap and an a complete waste of time. *grumble mumble MOO* BUT! New television shows are finally popping back up, oh hurrah, hurray!

On the other hand, coffee! I miss [livejournal.com profile] ros_fod, though :( Her computer stopped working properly when she was in my house (I am serious here, and I didn't touch it at ALL - it was pre-New Year's, though, so does not reflect upon the potential status of my luck - speaking of which, my motherboard will hopefully be delivered today, they attempted delivery on Saturday but the office was closed).

May you have fabulous, fantastic days! And may I come up with some GOALS.
