Greetings from swmboville, where it's a toasty 3 degrees outside and where we got TEN INCHES of snow last night.

In other words, it's a deathtrap out there and I'm not looking forward to leaving the house. I shall do it a little bit later. Particularly because even though when I got home last night I was SO GOOD and shoveled my driveway (which I never do because normally I am bad), the snow dumped another, oh, five inches on top and it doesn't look like I did anything at all. *sigh* THIS is why I think it's more productive to be lazy!

IT IS SO COLD.

I also bought socks. I need more socks. I always need more socks.

Like everybody else, I'm getting SO MANY COMMENTS dumped into my inbox that I missed due to the issues. And it sucks because I still have to go through and look and try to remember which ones I'd found and which I hadn't and some are NEW and most are not and LJ is ON NOTICE.

However, come ice, wind, snow, avalanche of comments and whatever weather my foes try to throw at me, The Twelve Days of Swmness GOES ON! That's right, in swmboville we don't cancel major holidays because of a little bad weather, even if it contains my nemesis, FROZEN WATER.

WHO is the coolest of them all?

That's right, swmbo!

Activities Director J at work just gave me a ticket to a 6:45 PM tonight screening ofThe Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.

That's right, I am gonna see it in THREE HOURS!! WOOOOOOOOOO I am so excited I am wiggling in my seat! Coworker N and I are gonna grab dinner together before hand and then head over and meet Activities Director J and this girl that I work with who freaks me out because she looks and sounds a little like lalejandra, but she is NOT.

Plus I made it in safe and sound to work, ten inches of snow and all. And now the big question is if I can easily get my car out of the parking lot, since everytime the snowplows come in it moves it deeper.

But then - SOUP at Panera and MOVIE MOVIE MOVIE!!!
