I went to the wine tasting last night, which was excellent and a lot of fun, although hectic - it took forever to get my last glass of wine. And then when i got home I had to throw everything I was wearing in the wash and take a shower IMMEDIATELY because of the smoke smell. And my coat and jacket are still in the garage so that they air out!

I went to bed soon after I got home and slept like the dead. Until waking up at the weird hour of 4:30, which is just early enough that it's too early to get up but late enough that it feels weird to try to go back to sleep for just another hour or so. Except for the fact that I somehow then overslept and didn't wake up until 6:30! When the only reason I did was because swmkit was standing next to me and tapping my face with his paw until I woke up. SWMKIT SAVES THE DAY!

I had weird, horrific dreams in which I was growing an eyeball on the sole of my left foot. And at first I didn't even realize what was happening, but the skin was going wrong and I was trying to examine it and there was this grey spot and omg, then there was an EYEBALL! And it was definitely mine and the same color as my actual eyes but on the bottom of my feet and it still makes me feel faintly queasy to think of it. And I was trying to get a doctor's appointment to get it taken care of.

I am also REALLY wanting more coffee - I only had the one cup because of the waking up late - but there is a MEETING in the conference room, home of the more acceptable work coffee. So I am suffering in silence and hoping it's not a long one because man, I want coffee.
