How are the interwebs treating you today?

I am huddled in my chair with the space heater blowing directly on me, trying to soak in as much heat as possible. It's not even that cold in my house and it's a good twenty degrees warmer than it was yesterday but apparently I am in a heat-sucking mood today.

This will be interesting because today is Pajama Day at work. Yes, I know, I know, but it's true. See, all our senior management (VP level and above) is on is on their annual retreat. This year they are going to the BAHAMAS! Seriously, who does that? LuthorCorp does. I wish them luck though. Last year they went to a Colorado ski resort and it supposedly turned out ok, but the two times before that were disasters. I think it was three years ago (before I worked there so NOT MY FAULT!) that they took a cruise and the cruise ship got stuck in the mud. They have swmbo's own luck. So, you know, if anything weird happens in the Bahamas this weekend, um, sorry. LuthorCorp - sometimes to dominate the world you gotta break a few islands.

But anyway, with upper management out the door, swmboss somehow turned up in charge, at least of our half the company. And she proclaimed it "pajama or sweats day" and so I'm wearing PJs to work. And a robe, per her special request, cause she thinks it'd be funny. Sometimes having it known that you have really no sense of personal embarrassment or shame is a trying experience. Still, it should be WARM.

I would do more but for some reason yousendit is SO SLOW now, anybody else notice it slowing down a lot lately? But it is free, so I do not bitch. And now I must go put on my pajamas and get ready to brave the day!

Also, winterlive made gorgeous vk icons yesterday that make me wibble and flail and it brings home that yes, yes, there should be MORE VK icons in this world. Omg, so many, many more. LOOK at that skin! Look at his throat! Ok, ok, controlling myself now cause I leave for work in ten minutes. LOVE YOU GUYS!

ETA2: Awww! When I got to work there was a cream colored rose on my seat with a note that said "Just wanted to brighten your day in a small little way". I love my coworkers.
