Oh, I know, you people are going to try to tell me it's Friday but it's not. I'm at work, but I obviously came in on a Saturday because it is NOT Friday. From the minute I woke up, it felt like a leisurely morning, a day to spend lounging around and drinking coffee.

Even driving into work it felt like Saturday - the roads were strangely free of cars. This lends support to my belief, expressed to moireach yesterday, that it IS saturday and we're being brainwashed to forget a day in order to harness our working energy six days a week. Next they'll probably implant false memories of either my Saturday or Sunday and then the weekend will feel strangely short and the conspiracy will be complete!

The wine tasting last night was a ton of fun - the person running it works for some wine distribution company and knows a ton and he talked to us about each wine we tried and gave us tidbits about the vineyards, the grapes, the fermentation methods, etc. And we tried five wines, three of which I loved, one I quite liked and one that reminded me of nothing so much as a Russian River Valley Pinot, with that strange fishy undertaste. And there were things to nibble on and a very relaxed atmosphere of relaxing and talking.

And it was lateish when I got home, 10 - which is very late for me on a day when I have work the next morning, even if that work is on a fake Friday and not a real one! So I washed my hair because I can not sleep if my hair smells like bar smoke and then tucked myself into bed for reading. And then into bed for sleeping. And that, my friends, was that.

This weekend my hunter IS going to make level 40 on World of Warcraft and I SHALL get my riding tiger! I already transferred the coins over from my druid, the only one of my chars that can turn any kind of profit. I'm excited about it and I can't wait.

I made myself a double mug of coffee to bring into work in addition to the coffee I had at home so I am SET. Life is good, life is glorious, life is all about the coffee.
