It was 37 degrees outside and 63 degrees in my house when I woke up *blissful* I am going to have to get out actual blankets now.
I drug out my spaceheater when I woke up, too and started it - it is making swmkit suspicious. But it brought the house temp up two degrees in two hours and it's going to warm up a little more this weekend. I can't go from having the air on to having the heat on, it's unacceptable! There needs to be some transition.
I didn't end up watching Night Stalker last night! *scowl* I was at the happy hour thing with coworkers and I had it perfectly planned that if I left at 7:40, I'd be home in time. Except the waitress ignored our table completely from about 7:30 until 7:45. Including the people with empty drinks, so we were all very not happy campers - particularly since she did it by not looking at our table as she took other orders, etc. So weird, too.
Anyway, I missed the first ten minutes and I also smelled like smoke, so I just started tivo'ing it from where it was and hopped into the shower. I'll see if I can grab a proper copy tonight but if not, I'll manage missing the first ten minutes.
Other than that, I'm happy. There are doughnuts in the office and I'm going to be attending web conferences all day about how blogs can affect businesses, website performances, PR, etc. CAN life get any cooler? No, no it can not.
Well, except at 5 when I head out of here for the weekend because it is FRIDAY!
*squishes you all happily* Plus I had two yummy, yummy cups of coffee and I'm dogsitting this weekend and lets see how swmkit reacts to meeting a dog, shall we? Ohhh yes. (the dog in question is actually scared of cats, which makes it even funnier)
