journalkitten! Here's hoping it's fabulous, fun filled and fantastic! I proudly present you with the Birthday Crown!
This is late and I'm here and there and rarely at my desk all day today - which I think will make the day fly by. Which is excellent!
The drawback to carpooling with BFF is that we leave earlier than I used to - which used to mean I had less time between waking up and having to leave and I LIKE my morning time. My body, however, has decided to adjust and now wakes me up at 5:30 every day, despite the fact that my alarm is set for 6. Stupid body. Still, it meant I had a nice two hours before I left!
Still, it meant that I got half a level with my hunter before leaving for work and lots of swmkit time. He still hasn't returned my slipper yet, though.
I'm on my third cup of coffee - the best thing about the fact that I'm in and out of meetings and web presentations ALL DAY is that I'm in the conference room for good chunks. The conference room with the coffee that is not as good as home coffee but yards about nasty breakroom coffee. I am on my third cup and will be drinking more and more!
Plus it doesn't feel like work at all.
Tonight is happy hour with coworkers, tomorrow-monday is dogsitting for the BFF and this weekend will thus be filled with indulgence. Life, she is good. I give you all squishes and hugs.
And I hope Arrie gets her Lost feed and starts watching it and reporting back SOON, because my Lost experience is never complete until she does!
PS. VK is still very, very pretty.
ETA: Adding fannish content! They kept running commercials for Alias last night with the slogan that went (possibly paraphrased, from memory) "This time it's not just about the mission - this time it's personal."
... Hee! I died of laughter. Who, exactly, are they kidding? This is Alias! When is it ever NOT personal?!
