I am a powerhouse this morning. I carpooled in with BFF today (gas prices bad!). This means I got to work early early early, thirty minutes before I'm supposed to start. And since I am chronically late, this puts me even earlier - I actually arrived at the same time as swmboss. Who feigned complete shock and asked if the world was ending. Hrmfs.
But I am up I am awake I had coffee and I have more coffee and, most amazing of all, I have no deadlines today. Oh, I have lots to do but nothing is due TODAY. There is a such freedom and joy in that.
My DVDs arrived yesterday! SCORE! I didn't play WoW because after overdosing hardcore this weekend, I'm taking a break - last night and of course tonight is Nephbo Night and nephbos are more important than WoW. Instead, I watched episodes and it was goooood.
( I watched a couple eps of House and of life as we know it - no spoilers )
So that was last night! Tonight is nephbo night and BFF's husband is cooking - I'm expect a feast! Nephbo's sitter/watcher/whatever is unavailable for this week and next, so he's home today to watch him so obviously he should be cooking up something amazing.
This is actually quite likely, as he's a fantastic cook and when he has time he will prepare the most elaborate dishes, the kind that are art for the eyes as well as the tongue.
I wish you guys the best of days and I remind you: TOMORROW is the season premiere of the OC and the show premiere of Reunion. Which I am expecting everybody to watch because of the cheesy 80s music. Also, Sean Faris, star of life as we know it is also in Reunion. This makes me miss lawki more, though, since none of the six chars in Reunion made me, you know, care about them.
Still, the 80s! I watch tomorrow for that alone.
