Ouch. This is what I get for taking a break from the internets yesterday.*
In swmnews: I am a murderer.
*bursts into tears* I was mowing the jungle that was previously my lawn yesterday and I ran over a turtle! There was this horrible sounding grinding noise mixed with a thumping and the mower STOPPED and I thought it was going to explode and then there were bits of turtle shell and turtle meat everywhere and I KILLED IT!
I keep thinking if my lawn hadn't been such an unmowed paradise so often, he would have picked a safer place to live than my back yard. *sniff* I hope he had a good turtle life.
Also swmkit stalked and killed a cricket again yesterday. And yet he is not a murderer but a hunter and of him I am proud. We went to the vet Friday night and he got shots and was very upset with everybody and showed his disapproval of events by refusing to eat the treat they gave him. And they found a funny lump on his head about the size of a grain of rice and hard, not fatty - they took a culture and will do an analysis and I really hope it's nothing, just a foreign object that skin grew over or something.

Today is my Laborless day and already I've had a long, leisurely cup of coffee and shall have more. I love you guys. I hope you can still love me even if I'm a horrible and cruel murderer.
