swmbo at 08:28am on 01/08/2005That's right my friends, in 40 minutes I am supposed to be reporting at the County Clerk's office, where they will decide if they can entrust me with Absolute Power over somebody's Fate. Errr, a percentage of absolute power, anyway.
I'm already completely disorganized today, since I thought I put the clothes I am gonna wear in the dryer yesterday but it turns out..nope, just the washer. So they're drying now. It's gonna be an excellent, excellent day, isn't it? FOUR HOURS SLEEP! That's right, baby - swmkit decided that 5:45 was a good time for me to wake up. Not that it's exactly his fault that it takes absolutely no noise to wake me and the sound of his playing with a piece of paper was more than enough to do it!
But two cups of coffee so far this morning and I'll grab something to take with me to eat.
I was a TERRIBLE person this weekend and didn't read LJ at all. Well, ok, my complusion kicked in enough that I am technically caught up....but I skimmed EVERYTHING right before going to bed each night, when my eyes were bleary with tiredness and my brain foggy with the need for sleep so I'm not sure if anything registered. *facepalm* Let me know if I missed anything. The big news for this weekend is that some people came and worked on my deck/patio, removing the bad framework. I can't explain this framework at all, it was weird and pointless and I cared nothing for it. Also it was badly installed screwed into the woodsiding without any kind of seal or something, which means that it started to rot underneath which means that yay, I'm going to have to replace my siding as soon as humanely possible. I'm not sure when that will BE, but it's on the List. The List keeps growng longer, what's with that? Anyway, I do a doubletake everytime I look out my back window becuase it's all different now.
Hee. This is an exciting entry, isn't it? Why DO you guys put up with me?
PS. Frantic should be a mood.
PPS HAVE A GOOD DAY! I wonder if I will get thrown in contempt of court for playing magic phone...*ducks*
