Now, in swmbo-news!

I am gonna go see Kingdom of Heaven today, oh yes. In complete fangirlishness, and of course Kovsky is gonna mock me. But that's ok, because I WIN, last night she was totally playing the know it all card and saying "swmbo, they won't have Law & Order: SVU at Blockbuster" and I told her she was wrong and she mocked me hardcore and said really mean things that I can't repeat her without totally ruining her reputation. And then about an hour or so later she texted me back and said "We're at the video store and they do have it, you are right, I apologize." SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DOUBT ME, annakovsky?! Yeah, that's right. Now go learn to appreciate Orli.

I am also gonna buy myself a food processor today! Because remember my previous urge to spoil myself? Well, I just remembered I have a gift thing for Bed, Bath and Beyond so I can actually spoil myself and not do it by depleting my bank account drastically. YAY! I've never actually owned a food processor before - we always chopped things by hand growing up. But I have been really, really wanting one for a couple of years now, since I have some great recipes that I hardly ever make because it involves so much veggie cutting that I put it off. Plus, I wanna eat more spinach, chopped fine and mixed in with stuff and dude, spinach is such a pain to chop by hand. ALthough not as much so if you do frozen but...I am off track. The point is - spoiling myself. YAY!!!

I also had a long thing about Harry/Draco fic and how I adore it but I get impatient and unhappy if Draco, upon beginning his relationship with Harry, loses too much of his edge, but I already sorta vented it out to Linney and Arrie during my morning email and now I have lost the edge. But I still say it - give me snarking and mockery, for mockery is love! Hee.

So, anyway, that is my morning so far and my day to come - movie and shopping-with-intent-to-spoil self. Life, she is good. I hope you guys all have equally fabulous Saturdays!

Outside is the kind of thunderstorm that sounds like the end of the world. No rain, yet - but lightning keeps splitting the sky and the noise is crashing through the air.

Wait, now the rain just started as well, and it's pelting down a gazillion miles an hour. It wasn't supposed to rain today, but go figure - it smells sweet, however. And it means it's finally spring, after the cold weather we've had for weeks now.

I was watching 4400 and all the cheese involved except...yep, the weather just knocked out my satellite. So now I'm just sitting in the dark here :) Good thing it wasn't during SVU. And heee...I just remembered that the bedroom window was open a few inches, for fresh air. And, um, flooding. Ooops. *facepalm* Hey, if it rains all day tomorrow, I can avoid mowing the lawn again, yay!

Unless - hey, 4400 is back on. Also, why are there always creepy little kids?! Hrmfs.

Anyway, here's to my not getting killed by lightning! *beams*
