Ok, I am so over this cold thing. Lets just move ON, already, ok? I am an impatient soul and it's lingering around and making me groggy and grumpy and growly and NOT great. And my mouth feels like chalk, blech. BLECH I say. There is not enough water in the world!!

I'm still not taking anything but zicam and cough drops, because cold medicine and I are currently in a disagreement phase. But I'm workable and thank god it's the weekend, so maybe I can get some rest. And hey! I put on makeup for work for the first time this week, surely that's a sign of recovery, right?

Yesterday they were making fun of my voice at work again and I was all "damn it, it'll go back to normal in a few days" and swmboss said "Yeah, and I'm kind of sorry about that." *sulks*

I'm gonna try to do another Slag Heap update later today again, for the sake of treasuring my own memories and for the handful of people who are interested and/or indulge me. And then all the rest of you who are shaking your head and going "that swmbo, she's got issues" can stop worrying that I'll snap one day and stalk him in person. Again. Shuddup. He's just awesome, I can't help it. My Ros knows!!

Ohh, and last night after the OC debacle I skipped out on my house and went across the street to the BFF's - she and her hubby and nepbho left town yesterday afternoon for a long weekend in Chicago. Lucky them! And I said I'd watch the dog, and make sure he's fed and let out and stuff. And then I was like, hey, I shall go over and play with him. And I brought a couple of dvds and watched X-Files and Due South and played with the dog and it was nice because he loves me and is very, very cuddly. And I shall probably do the same tonight. Although I miss my nephbo like mad - since I was sick, I called and told his mom I wasn't coming over on Nephbo night and this means it might be TWO WEEKS TOTAL between nephbo seeings and I haven't not seen him for so long since he was born *flails* SO UNFAIR.

Also I might have to go to a birthday party tomorrow night, bleek. I want to, but I'm weighing socialization versus cold and we're not sure which will win. But no matter what I shan't stay late. And that catches you all up on swmbo. *LOVES* MUST run because I have to get bananas and chocolate dip stuff to take to work cause it's Arrested Development Day. It's a thing. We're gonna make Bluth Frozen Bananas, except not frozen.
