WEeee! Very shortly after I got home, the sky turned thick and green and then the rain came clattering down on all sides and there was freedom from lawn mowing! Or, you know, postponement. But since I will be in fabulous New York City this weekend, I *must* get on the ball and do it soon. Plus such torrents of rain make the grass grow far to fast, meep. It's supposed to be clear Thursday anyway, even if the rest of the days are teetering between chance of rain and chance of storm. So I can do this *looks brave*

That or when I return I can arm myself with a machete and try to cut down the jungle that has sprung up in my backyard. Stay tuned!

Ohh! I want to take a moment to thank my darlings minervacat and lalejandra - the Due South DVDs arrived! WEE!! I am bracing myself to watch - check me out, beginning in Season THREE! Even if technically Season 3 being Season 3 or a new show is apparently a hot topic of debate, according to my beloved tvtome resource. Hey, if it makes it easier for me to watch, I'm calling it a win :)

Popular vote from yesterday's meme says that I am either Wash from Firefly or - evil. YES! GO EVIL! CHOOSE EVIL! But I can be both! But the decision was nearly universal, with winterlive, circe_tigana and arundhathi all chosing him for very different reasons (I'm keeping an eye on you, Arrie). All bonus points go to arundhathi for : You are still the First Evil, though. And whatever is inside the hatch on Lost. Or Jin, because of that thing where you're utterly incomprehensible. *beams* Is it any wonder I love her?! annakovsky, however, got NO points for making almost the identical joke, nearly an hour after Arrie did! Gotta be faster, KOVSKY! Plus trying to take away my coffee and sugar? Not smart, Kovsky. I still luff you, though.

Also! cathexys linked to two hysterical vid yesterday which I am still dying with laughter about - Gilderoy Lockhart singing about his teeth. And mamoru22's Stargate SG-1 and Stargate:Atlantis vid to Cartoon Heroes - I think I saw the latter rec'ed before I actually started watching Stargate, so I'm glad that I got this second reminder.

And now it's about that time again kids and I hope you all have superbly fantastic days. My first and second cups of coffee were hot and comforting and I might just be able to pull today off :) Shuddup, Kovsky.
