As per the usual course of action, I talk. I was going to start off by giving you guys a standard swmbo update on my yesterday and today (coffee, toast with raspberry jam, plans for a hot bath later and cheesy movies with explosions and sci-fi and bad puns) but things are too long to do that. And people keep asking for more and more background so hey, what the hell, I'm good at background. Please remember, as always, that much of this is filtered through what I've seen and experienced and other people will have a different perspective. That being said, I think that in some ways this is the healthiest wank for the bulk of fandom, at least those who have been abused by a certain set of people, in a long time.

mimesere made another post in the same lines last night as jennyo and glossing. Here, she talks about the "unacceptable" actions of annakovsky, janedavitt and myself and our unwarranted attacks. Why we are continually singled out when there are - and I've linked to them - dozens of posts disagreeing out there, still makes me boggle but hey, one at a time, right? Unless it's the fact that anybody who knows me knows that I love to talk and can't STOP responding! I know, it's my bad.

God, I want to address so much more, but it's too freaking long already. I don't even know if I could read to the end of this myself.

So anyway, the nice thing about being me is that I don't let things fester and by typing this all out I already feel like fifty times better. And I think I'll go make myself a cup of coffee and possibly put on some wool socks. For it is in the 40s outside, but so sunny and beautiful I decided to turn off the heat and open the windows and enjoy the fresh air - but it means my feet are cold. Aren't you glad I'm so open and willing to share? Have a great day, everybody, and hi to the newbies. Remember, in swmbo's world, there are few problems a judicious application of either coffee or chocolate can not cure.
