And I am home! And planning to stay that way. Well, not ultimately and forever but for today. I did find my thermometer yesterday and was far from pleased to see a fever of 102. *sigh* Fortunately I also found meds and stuff and I had a weirdly restless sleep last night (I kept dreaming about LJ, and having a discussion on LJ that was really interesting and yet of course I can no longer remember any of the points. But it was in the LJ of somebody who doesn't exist - a fact that kept confusing me when I'd wake up...swmbo on drugs = not so quick on the uptake). Today my fever is thankfully down to about 100 but I'm obviously still staying home. And instead of coffee I will have tea. And if somebody could MAKE me that tea, it'd be a very nice thing to do. Because right now I am nothing but sore throat and watery muscles and the general feeling of having been hit by a truck and then stuck in the oven a few hours to reheat.
( But despite the fever, yesterday was awesome. )

Today's agenda is gonna be completely weird. I went to bed last night hoping I'd feel fine this morning and could go to work and then that obviously didn't happen. I figured it out kind of by 4 am and then absolutely at 6 am, when I reset the alarm. I'm only up right now because I needed to call my BFF and then work to let them know. And I slept enough that I can't imagine trying to fall back asleep. But the couch is looking awfully comfy so if I can muster up energy to make myself a cup of tea, I might curl up there and possibly fall asleep, possibly drowse in front of mindless TV. What time does Judge Judy come on? Hee. No, no, I won't watch that, the commercials will annoy me. I will put in a DVD or go drag out one of my children's books. Maybe Ransome - you can't beat Ransome.
