violetsmiles is here on my couch. She's watching the first season of the OC, which she'd never seen. I swear I had nothing to do with this! Apparently there's something about my couch that compels people into watching it when I'm at work. Maybe? I can't figure it out. Of course, Vi is SUCH a bitch. *cough* I started to explain how to use the VCR/DVD TiVo set up of 3 remotes and she just LOOKS at me. And then goes. "I didn't understand, can you explain that again?" in a completely deadpan voice. She apparently has the same dvd/vcr at home. However, I'd like to point out that for those UNFAMILIAR with it, it's complicated as I have had to explain it to multiple people. SO SHUDDUP, VI!!! But she's so falling in love with The OC. And keeps saying that I'm evil! This is so unfair. All I did was answer her question of "how many seasons of the OC are there?" with "It's on Season 2, but I have Season 1 on DVD".
Last year,crimsonlady sent me a giant wooden cricket. My mom put it on the hearth. Cause you know, cricket on the hearth. Vi has made me remove it and put it behind a curtain so she can't see it any longer. Perhaps she'd be happiest if it was in Times Square.

Vi keep squeeing about the OC. I'm pretty sure she's already hooked, halfway through the first episode.

Ok, I really, really have to go to work now. And yet I have so much more to say!! And I'll be running home for lunch (I shall make shrimp fried rice for Vi and I!) but I really want to talk about this episode more. So if you watched it, feel free to talk about it there so I can answer or you know, I might do a second rant later tonight/tomorrow/someday. I can't promise though, cause then I'd break 'em.
Anyway, I hope you all have a fantastic day!! *LOVES* I had a gorgeous cup of coffee and Vi was shocked to find out that I'm not grumpy in the morning (which considering I usually do morning posts I would think would be OBVIOUS!) and I she got a splinter in her finger from my evil stairs so already I'm in TROUBLE! But it's so awesome to have her here, today is going to be sloooow at work.
