Very early greetings from swmboville, quite an hour ahead of schedule. Will wonders never cease? But I am going to be so slammed at work the next few days, for not only are we busy as usual but I'm leaving early on Thursday for airport duty. On the bright side, scuttlebutt is that somebody's coming in for a final interview for an open position - if hired, half their job will be helping Coworker N and I with our stuff. So, yay! But we're still looking for a few weeks out.

Not-housekeeping-but-related: entrenous88 made a really interesting post about the nature of friending on LJ, particularly friends back. Interesting to me, anyway, because I found out that her positions mirror so many of mine! I'm the same way - I always mean to check out the LJs of people who friend me, but I often don't have time, or forget, or forget even who has checked. But she brings up some awesome questions regarding how comfortable people feel commenting in the LJ of somebody who doesn't have them friended, and the patterns of behavior that result in friending and unfriending. And sometimes refriending, which always fascinates me. I mean, I've always tried to make my LJ a place where anybody can feel comfortable commenting in, whether they have me friended or not. Or whether they disagree with me or not. I mean, I don't even defriend-and-hate people who tell me that Nephbo is NOT the cutest and best baby ever, although naturally I will question their sanity.
