Digital Smoke signals! On this, the last day of January!

Because it is indeed snowing - and snowing fast and furious. We're only supposed to get about 3 inches, but still - it's snowing like there's no tomorrow. It wasn't even really supposed to, so naturally it came as a bit of a shock when I woke up to the scrape-scrape-scrape of the plow coming through, sometime in the middle of the night. But I was able to go back to sleep.

To really weird dreams. About, of all things, One Tree Hill. Which, mind you, I've never seen - but since the Season 1 DvDs just came out, there have been a lot of commercials, and at least one person (resmin? mincat? somebody?) on my flist said I should give in and watch it, using the Power of Netflix. Last night I dreamt that I found the Season 1, Disk 1 dvd in a netflix sleeve that arrived at my house, even though it wasn't queued. And I tried to watch it, except the entire dvd had nothing but cast interviews and specials and stuff, leading to a lot of frustration.

But the kicker was the last thing I remember before waking up to my alarm - I was frustrated by the lack of actual, you know, show, and expressed that and was told, and I quote: "On your knees, bitch - and prepare for deportation to the Outer Colonies". HEE! EVERY time I think of it, that makes me laugh so incredibly hard.

Also now I need to put One Tree Hill in my Netflix Queue. DAMN it. And hopefully I'll like it enough that I won't get sent off to the fringes of the galaxy. Or, you know, I WILL get sent off and then my bid for world conquest could be changed into one for galactic tyranny. Which does have it's points...
