So I thought I knew where my doctor's office was, yes? Except that I thought it was in the same building as the one I WAS going to see, before the miscalculation. But it's not, it's a different ST number. Eep. This will be fun. I'm gonna have to call and get more specific directions soon, before I set off. However, keep your fingers crossed I find it AND that it's something fixable. I would like to be fixed. Thank you!

Now, as evidence that my flist is composed of crazed and cruel people, mpoetess (I'm prlly gonna have to side with the people who say she is NEVER the Good One) decided yesterday that her mission was to cheer me up from my BOUNCY mood. Because bouncy isn't happy enough and obviously a symptom of depression.

And therefore she wrote me Raccoon Porn (warning: NC-17, with pawing) - AND she convinced flowery_twat, who spent the entire day both online and in airports and, due to the miracle of ME, met up with Kovsky in Detroit since I'm the one that clued them in that they'd both be there at the same time, due to the mutual plane delays they each texted me about, wrote me more vile insane Racco/Hairy pr0n.

And then, because raccoon pr0n is not bad enough, she leaped on my NOT SERIOUS suggestion of Strindberg/Helium porn and...produced a snippet which is made worse by the fact that I can hear it in their voices. And circe_tigana, not to be outdone, produced Strindberg/Helium angst that perfectly captures the essence of their complex relationship. *cough*

*facepalms* I love you guys. You are sick and twisted and I love you a lot. But I cried myself to sleep last night...

Ok, no I didn't - I lie. There was WIND! Also, I watched Life as we know it and I just adore that show *happy sigh* WHY, oh WHY did they move it opposite the O.C. ?! How much does ABC hate this show? Seriously. *sulk* So now I gotta track down a copy of the O.C., but it is less strong of an urge than it would have been last year - although apparently there was some awesome Cohen family stuff, which wee!!

Ok, my plan, besides the doctor thing, is to actually finish up my Lost fic this weekend and make Ros Beta it. I WILL TRACK YOU DOWN, FOD! Because after last week's and with next, this is prlly my last chance to do it before we find out so much information that I'm wrong. ALthough if I am high on pain meds or something because the doctor is a GOD, then I will figure something else out.

And now, very shortly, I leave for the doctor (yay, magic phone, you can still TALK to me while I'm gone, peoples!) and then when I get back, my department is finishing up our move to the other side of the building. EEk.

Also, coffee is my friend.

Coming from somebody who has seriously been worried about having to cut some people JUST for time reasons...

Hee. But I will do my best! A quick glance at just the first page indicates a LOT of HP out there, including such glorious sentences as "Is anyone else amused by the macabre nurturing/nesting behavior going on in the Snape cemetary?"

I don't know what that means, I do not care what that means - I think I'm in love.
