*sits back down, already exhausted from shouting*
Hee. It's Saturday and it is absolutely gorgeous and sunny but cold out. And my day is somehow PACKED. I have to go over in an hour or so and let the dog out, play with him somewhat today, clean out my car (just in CASE!), test drive cars, flail a bit, go to the post office, finish making Ash&Vi Lost tapes, and clean. Yes. The car thing freaks me out, because naturally I got the pre-approval/loan check thing in the mail yesterday and so now I'm like...okie, I COULD buy it today. But they're always willing to approve you for more than you can actually budget in properly and I am oh so bad. But I can do this. *trembles again*
ALSO! Wee! Ash who loves me very, very much felt bad about my review being postponed and *sent me* Season 1 of Freaks and Geeks which I've never seen-until I saw the first two eps last night and aww, I love it and I love her and eee, it's sooo good. *dances* So very good. And what with the power of netflix, I also have The Day After Tomorrow on DVD, because damn, I was a slacker and never saw it in the theater. But this is the perfect weekend cause I can watch it on my neighbors big screen tv while dogsitting, rather than on my teeny tiny 19" inch TV, which is perfectly good for normal viewing but much less so for disaster movie viewing! And what a way to celebrateanniesj's birthday - watching a Diaster Flick!
You know, last time I bought a car, they gave me this 19" inch TV free. *waits for a plasma TV with her new purchase* HEE. I do live in a good dream world.
Ok, and yesterday, btw? Was PAIN. literally and figuratively pain. We remember my angst over the looming deadline? Yeah, and then we ended up having a meeting - about some future stuff for deadlines for the next two weeks - which lasted OVER an hour. *facepalm* Which when I had pretty much budgeted my day down to the minute...seriously. I ended up with shooting pain down my back when I finally left yesterday, because I'd gotten so tense and been so busy I didn't walk around like I normally do.
On the bright side, CoWorker B told his boss that I was awesome and made a huge push to get him everything he needed and he was so glad I'd been the one assigned to work with him. And his boss (aka swmboss 2.0) came over and told me how much he appreciated it and me and gave me gum. GUM! Woot. I actually didn't get the smallest bit done, but something that'll take me just a short time when my brain is fresh either this weekend or early on Monday. But I got gum. Wee!
Ok, I seriously need a house elf or a minion right now. Somebody good at organizing DVDs, CDs. Ability to do laundry and mop floors a plus. Please apply with references and food requirements to this journal entry!
*loves you all* *HUGS* Now I go to make a second cup of coffee - my first one was spectacular and the best thing about Saturday is omg, coffffeee as much as I want, all day long and all GOOD.
ETA OMG! I totally suck and forgot about it but - today is the 1 year anniversary ofarundhathi and I meeting and talking and bonding over Connor and friending each other! And I can't believe how important she's become to me in a year, because there are no words for how brilliant and amazing and wonderful she is. And in those early entries, I apologized for spamming her so much, but the discussion was so engaging I could NOT stop replying.
And I haven't been able to stop for over a year. I love you, my Arrie. OH SO MUCH!
