I just woke up. Um, now. At 11:30. After going to bed at 9 last night (dosing myself with Theraflu). So that's...over 14 hours! Eeep. Because yeah, apparently? The sore throat I happened to mention last night has blossomed into some sort of PLAGUE. Or, you know, a cold. But whichever it is, it's turned me into a brain dead zombie. I keep finding myself staring off into space and can't do anything for more than like, 30 seconds. But anyway, I have fever, sore throat, muscle aches, exhuastion (obviously!) congestion and...bug eyes. I don't think that's an official symptom anywhere, but they should add it. That feeling like you're not sure you can close your eyelids and you just keep looking in one direction and zoning out. I want cold medicine that relieves bug eyes!

Because actually, I almost fib when I say 14 hours sleep. What really happened was every couple of hours I'd wake up and then go back to sleep. Sometimes immediately and sometimes I'd do something like, check lj, go back to sleep, or read a few pages and go back to sleep. Wander around the house for a minute and forget what I thought I was doing and go back to sleep. I'm about ready to go back to sleep again. I also had dreams. Dreams about LJ. Dreams about receiving comments in my email (which works again, btw, yay!). The worst part? Of the three comments I received, one wasn't even addressed to me - it was a comment in my post responding to snark and miss m's book convo they had in my LJ yesterday. Now that is the lamest thing I think I've ever dreamed - reading a random, short comment not even addressed to me. *facepalm*

Oh and I meant to say - the speaker yesterday? *shiver* He says when he's having a day that kind of starts out on the wrong foot, that he believes in a positive mental attitude, that it can change things. Well, so does swmbo! However...the path he recommended, that he said he does was...surreal. He says, out loud, in an extremely positive and cheerful voice "It's a GREAT day!", while he's getting ready. But *cough* Not just a few times. He said that on a particularly bad day he'll say it over four hundred times!! *flinch* Yeah. One of these days the guy's just gonna snap.
