Goooood morning my dear friends list!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
wildanni7
I love ya, Izzy Iz - I hope you have a fantastic day because you deserve it!
swmboss just stood in the doorway of our office and said, in a very dramatic voice, "Just for the record, I DO love you all. Unfortunately, Coworker S and I need to love Project S4 right now". And from the other room CoWorker S's voice could be heard in a very loud and disturbed "WHA?!" Aww, happiness. What a way to start the day. Also, this obviously means she's plotting something.
Last night I went to the grocery store last night. But not just ANY grocery store...Aldis. I love Aldis. With a mad, cheapskate passion. I don't go nearly often enough because it means I have to take the windy path through subdivisions home, the sort where streets mysteriously end in no outlets and yet if you go half a street along, a street of the SAME NAME mysteriously appears. And there's lots of stop signs and well, suburbia. But not MY suburbia, random wild and strange suburbia.
( In which I talk happily about groceries and dvds )
And it was dinner time and I realized that I hadn't bought anything specifically for dinner and I hadn't bought bread besides the bagels (I don't care as much for the Aldis wheat, just so you know, although it's definitely edible, just not my favorite) so tuna fish sandwiches were right out.
( Adventures in ordering pizza )
And this morning I'm wearing a very business like suit instead of comfy clothes because we have 'clients in the office'. Even though my department will have no interaction with said clients, nor will we even encounter them for the most part. Instead sales will take them on a tour of the company at some time today, stand in the doorway of my department and completely get what we do wrong. And wrong in a totally different way from the last time they gave the tour because they just MAKE STUFF UP! I'm sure of it.
Anyway, I'm a happy camper despite the fact that I'm wearing a suit because the one advantage is that with the suit jacket I'm actually fairly warm. And it is cold. I turned the heat on at home briefly for the first time this year (which, ugh, I hate that because the smell of burning dust is strong and ucky). Actually it was warmer in the house than it was most days this week but I had a twinge in my left ankle which said "no exercising for you today" and that meant warmth must come from external sources.
Anyway, much much love and I am hoping you're all having a fantastic day! I'll be watching Veronica Mars tonight and, possibly, thinking about B5. Unless the Farscapes arrive from NetFlix. SO MANY CHOICES!
Love you!
