I want to start off the day by saying...Happy Jinnieversary, kita0610 and ros_fod! Even if I was a wee bit late to the game and didn't discover you for several weeks, I've since fallen in complete and adore adoration. Thank you so much for the last year, because between the two of you, you've made me laugh and cry an awful lot. I'm not sure what day you officially would consider your 'versary - my stalking research has kitanotjames created a year ago today (but kita playing on it for the first few days as herself), Vinnie_k a year ago yesterday, the first actual interaction I can find on a thread from 8/6 but the vinnie comment on the 7th and the Impala scenario on the 10th. So you guys can have ALL THOSE DAYS!

Because for Jinnie, every day should be celebrated! Ta da! Massive love to you both. Here, have a gondala ride... In celebration of your 'versary, I started rereading everything in order. You still break my hearts, in any universe.


Onward to swmbosity! Last night *facepalm* - I kept smelling garlic bread when I tried to go to sleep. It was driving me INSANE because, hey, why in the world would my bedroom smell like garlic bread?

*sigh* I had a bottle of some sort of herbaly ear drops on my bedside table - I never even use it, because it has garlic oil in it and it becomes overpowering when it's in your ear, at least if you're me. And somehow it had tipped over and spilled all over the place. *sobs* So that was my disaster-of-the-day.

That and the fact that there is no CREAM for my coffee at work! So today I drink it black. Which is ok, because I like coffee every possible way it can be served. So far. Don't go adding weird things to my coffee just to see if I'll drink it...

I finished Babylon 5, Season 3 this morning! *flails* I'll do a nice, long cut tagged post about the episodes that I haven't talked about from the season later today.

However *sigh* *kicks things* Netflix? Sent me Babylon 5, Season 5 episode 1. AND Babylon 5, Season 4 episode 1, thank goodness. But I'm grumpy that they can't read a list in order sometimes. I sent back the Season 5 one this morning and there's a tiny, TINY smidgeon of a chance that S4, disk 2 will arrive on Saturday, but more likely MOnday.

I will be strong and survie, somehow!

Mombo is visiting not this weekend, but next. And there's gonna be a small babyshower for my best friend. And my favorite college roommate, she just had her first baby last week and I got pictures this morning *squeaks happily* And he's soo tiny, he was only 5 lbs, 12 oz (he was 3 weeks early) but so unbelievably cute. I can't wait until I get a chance to see him in person, even if he'll probably be loads bigger by then! But good, sooo tiny. A picture is behind the cut tag because it's actually bigger than he is...

Oh, another Jane Espenson thing I forgot to mention - she said that when working on Tru Calling, she never calls to Eliza/Tru as "Faith" on accident, but she has been known to slip up and refer to her as "Buffy".

First, a few random things I need to mention. The first - theantikita and notkitanotjames MUST be stopped because they're coming into my journal and saying terrible things about not_god and I really, really don't want to have my LJ struck by not_lighting or smote anytime soon. *flails*

Also, I keep meaning to ask this - WHO from tigannie_con infiltrated writercon ?! As some of those involved in Tigannie*Con know, there was apparently a truth or dare in which people dared other people (MULTIPLE PEOPLES!!!) to post pictures of raccoons in my LJ. *shudder* It was horrific and I still have scars.

Anyway, the Fod had made a sign for our hotel door, with our names on it - a very cute sign, all colorful letters and little slogans and stuff, it was adorable. Anyway, the day my journal was taken over, SOMEBODY at writercon wrote on the door sign "Tigannie*Con has taken over your live journals!" - and to this day we have no idea who it was ! So 'fess up, buttercup!

ALso, damn it Spiff! COFFEE IS NOT EVIL! DO NOT EVEN HINT AT SUCH THINGS!!


So, I am so far behind on recording my Babylon 5 impulses it's insane! The last one I talked about in order was Episode 5, although I skipped ahead and gave my episodes 16 and 17 opinions.
