omg, so much to do!

Why? Because two totally different things should not intersect. If I am cleaning the house because there are people staying there, I do laundry that consists of towels and fresh sheets. If I am preparing to go on a trip, I do the clothes I plan to take.

If they are happening at the same time, I forget one thing. And *cough* Have to go home over lunch to finish packing because my clothes are in the dryer. Hurrah! *facepalm*

I am so the queen of productivity!! So, I have a meeting at work at 10:00. At 11ish, I plan to go home and pack. Then I will return to work, hopefully in time to catch the company lunch. If not, I think I might be too excited to eat anyway. Because then at 5 (or slightly before if I get a chance to duck out early) I am going to drive to the airport (please send good karma thoughts to my car, since I am always worried about her breaking down if I drive longer than 30 minutes anywhere, I still haven't taken her in to get looked at, cause yes, I am bad) and hopefully arrive safe and sound. And then fly to DC where Twat and Fod will be waiting for me! And we will be giddy and make the town our own! I've never been to DC *squeaks happily* And then we'll have a glorious Saturday and Sunday I get to see my minervacat again and meet researchminion for the first time! omg, I'm so excited I'm flailing here. They should just send me home, because I can't imagine I'm gonna be able to string a coherent sentence together.

And then just two and a half weeks after I get back (which is LATE Sunday) I will go to WriterCon and meet More People Than I can Mention in one Post! *SQUEE* Also, violetsmiles? Email me or I find you and BEAT YOU!

For future reference, if anybody is flying, don't fly with me. I'm stuck at the airport *again* with huge delays on the flight. We might not even take off until 30 minutes after we were originally scheduled to land...and I have to catch a connecting flight ... which might also be delayed.

This where things get suspicious. When I arrived the gate screen said delay, but no new ETA. And listed Chicago (destination) as partly cloudy. As does my phone. Yet they claim it is weather. And they have since removed the weather and other info from the gate screen and replaced it with advertisements! *suspicious*

They did just move up the possible departure so keep your fingers crossed and vibe hard for me! Because I will cry if I miss my connecting flight, since it is the last one to DC....EVER! Or, you know, tonight!
