Anyway, this is told out of order, because of the sugar high. What I should have mentioned was that this morning I received another phone call from the Mombo.

In other news, annakovsky and flowery_twat are cruel and dashed the dreams of loraineee79, arundhathi and myself, with their cool new band that we're too lame to be a part of, even though WE are the rock stars. But it's ok. I'm gonna take my goat and go home. Or wait, I'm taking my goat to DC ! TAKE THAT!

And NOT getting a tattoo that says TwaT. That'll show them. But the fabulous band Golden Gods is no more, due to BETRAYAL on all sides. This city won't be built on stone and the act of rolling anymore.

Three day weeeeekend! Wee! I hope everybody has a great day! *hugs*

Wow, today was RACING by until about 30 minutes ago. And then it hit a dead stop.

Obviously, *frowns at her company* we were NOT all released early in some miracle of corporate kindness. Instead I am still at work. The office itself seems almost completely deserted. My department is here but it feels almost like we're the only ones - so I think a lot of people did skip out. Which is probably why it does feel like time is dragging.

As a public service announcement - a lot of people on my Flist have apparently just downloaded Firefox. The newest version on Firefox's site - 0.9.1 - seems to be really buggy. People who downloaded it at work aren't able to install some extensions and plugins and when they open a link from email, it keeps asking them to save files.

If anybody is having problems with 0.9.1, I highly recommend uninstalling it and installing the older version, or if anybody is thinking of switching to Firefox and hasn't yet. Mozilla still has the executables for it on their ftp site here:

And now, my kingdom for Chinese food. Note to the world: I'm making stir fry tonight. Since that's the only kind of chinese food that'll fit my 1.50 a day budget *grin* - the kind I make myself! Also, I'm now a proud member of the Grunge Girls band (Like the Spice Girls, but with a bitter edge) with arundhathi, loraineee79 and vanillacokehead. I'm Moody Grunge...*scowls at the flist*
